About the Area

Although the area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, there was no significant development in Britannia until 1956. This British themed community is only 4km’s outside of downtown and sports views of the downtown core, the rocky mountains, and the Elbow River valley. Residents of the area also enjoy easy access to the pathway systems in River Park and Stanley Park.

About the Area

Elbow Park is situated along the Elbow River in South West Calgary and is one of the oldest communities in the city. About the Area

When Mount Royal was established in 1904 it was promoted by the C.P.R. as an exclusive neighbourhood for Calgary’s affluent citizens, and this was made evident by the quality of the homes that were built in the area. To this day the neighbourhood has not lost its charm. Many of Calgary’s elite, such as Colonel James Macleod or the A.E. Cross family, have had the pleasure of calling Mount Royal home.

About the Area
